Data Scientist, AI and ML Expert

Ghent - Talentguide - Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist, AI and Machine Learning Expert to join the Talentguide team.  Talentguide is a Miles Ahead spin-off company, still in stealth mode.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced algorithms and models using data mining, machine learning, and AI techniques to support Talentguide’s business goal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team an various stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into a fit-for-purpose AI core

• Develop and implement advanced algorithms and models using machine learning, data mining, and AI techniques

• Create and maintain data pipelines to support the Talentguide AI core

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and relationships

• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings and insights to the team an various stakeholders

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of algorithms and models to identify areas for improvement

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning and apply them to our business needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with popular data science libraries and frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras)

• Experience with data cleaning, data manipulation, and data visualization tools (e.g. Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn)

• Strong understanding of statistics and probability theory

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience working with large and complex datasets

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with deep learning techniques and natural language processing

• Experience with cloud-based data science platforms (e.g., GCP)

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

• Experience with SQL and database management systems

• Experience working in a team-oriented and agile environment

• Knowledge of business operations and industry-specific domains
